September Forum Breakfast: The Future of Portland Mobility

Wednesday, September 19, 2018 (7:30 AM - 8:45 AM) (PDT)

Description

As the Portland region welcomes tens of thousands of new residents each year, and the economy continues to boom, the demand on our existing infrastructure has increased exponentially. Congestion on local streets and highways is no longer predictable and lasts throughout the day, impacting the workforce across the region and state. In 2017, the Oregon legislature directed local leaders to examine the possibility of value pricing as a tool to alleviate congestion. Learn from regional experts about how Portland plans to keep moving forward.
