Portland, Oregon native DJ Renz has been a figure in the hip hop and dance community for over 20 years as a choreographer, performer, on-air radio personality, DJ, and now streetwear brand owner.

Established in 2014, Akepele Apparel unites people through music, fashion, culture, and community. It’s the embodiment of a lifestyle paying homage to the creators, originators, and pioneers of the hip hop culture. Including influencers that have unknowingly helped contribute visually, physically, sonically, and spiritually to the evolution of the hip hop culture.
