Jeff Davies has lived in the West all of his adult life, arriving in Portland in 1985 from Boulder, Colorado.   Jeff returned to college to prepare for Eco Tours/Pinot Patrol after years of managing backpack/outdoor stores. Portland Oregon fulfilled the requirement of great hiking and mountain sports, healthy well prepared food, wine and locals who care about these things.

Much of the preparation in forming EcoTours/Pinot Patrol came naturally for Jeff Davies.  According to Jeff,  “As an extensive world nature traveler, I have visited many of the worlds natural and undeveloped places.  These experiences have given me insight to ecological concerns and helped us to develop new ways to travel that result in terrific visitor experiences, minimal impacts on the area and maximum benefit to local economies.  That’s what ecotourism is all about.”  He adds, “Of course my long-time love for nature creates an ability to do the tours from the heart.”

Eco Tours of Oregon/Pinot Patrol Wine Tours has been used regularly by Portland’s top Hotels, Hostels, Business and Convention Groups since 1992.  References gladly furnished.

Individuals and Small Groups include door-to-door transportation from the central Portland Oregon area. Large Groups and Conventions include door-to-door transportation from the Portland Oregon metro area.
